Question 25 is asked only of those respondents who indicated in a previous question in the questionnaire that one or more co-authors joined the project team after the study was submitted. The question asks for the reasons behind this.
The purpose of the pilot test was to determine whether the list of response options was complete or whether additional reasons should be included.
Findings:
Nine participants stated during the cognitive interview that they had previously been involved in a study in which co-authors joined the project team after the study had been submitted. The reasons for this are listed in Table 22 (Frequency Distribution for Question 25).
When asked, all participants stated that the list of response options in Question 25 was complete.
