The participants had a consistent understanding of the term “meeting in person” and distinguished their response to Question 4 from their response to Question 3 (contact via telephone or video communication). No participant reported any difficulty answering the question. The results of the pretest indicate that there are no issues with the question, so it can be left in its current form.

In the pretest, Question 3 served as a contextual question that was asked together with Question 4 to clarify the distinction in content between Question 3 (contact via communication media) and Question 4 (personal contacts). Question 3 was asked for each of the six individuals previously selected in Question 2. There were no comments from the test persons, and no cognitive follow-up questions were asked regarding Question 3.
