  2. Findings for Question: A total of 30 of the 132 subjects reported (probable) infection with the COVID-19 virus since the onset of the Corona pandemic. Eleven of these subjects suspected infection without a positive Corona test. The aim of the cognitive pretest was to investigate the basis on which the respondents came to this assessment (N1_F1, see Appendix).
Two of the eleven subjects did not give clearly evaluable answers to the probing question. The remaining nine respondents stated that they had had symptoms typical of COVID-19 infection (n = 6) and that, in addition, individual or all family members had tested positive (n = 3):
    • "I was sick at the very beginning of the pandemic and may have caught it at a fair." (TP189)
    • "Because I was mildly ill in February 2020 with typical symptoms but was not tested at that time." (TP193)
    • "Because everyone in the household was positive and I had symptoms.“ (TP78)
    • "All family members tested positive, I had symptoms." (TP124)
